Martyna Marciniak's work draws on media theory and legal imaginaries to investigate how power operates through images and visual systems. She frequently revisits historical moments through a method she calls “pataforensics”, playfully questioning the established forms of scientific evidence to reveal what they miss, misread, or contradict. Moving between sculpture, video and animation, Martyna writes visual counter histories, and smuggles in other ways of seeing. Her work has been exhibited at Onassis Stegi Athens, Copenhagen Contemporary, Ars Electronica, Galerie Stadt Sindelfingen, Warsaw Biennale, and LABoral Centro de Arte, among other institutions. She holds the 2025 CERN Collide residency. Her project «Anatomy of Non-Fact» was honored with the Award of Distinction at Prix Ars Electronica in 2025.
