Prof. Dr. Inge Herrmann is a chemical engineer and professor of innovation in medical technology at the University of Zurich, Balgrist University Hospital, and ETH Zurich. In her Ingenuity Lab, she develops novel materials and nanotechnologies for precision medicine, ranging from biomedical adhesives and nanoparticle-based therapeutics to minimally invasive approaches in women’s health. Herrmann’s research regularly leads to spin-offs such as hemotune, anavo, and veltist. She has been honored with the SNSF Eccellenza Fellowship, the Latsis Prize, and the Largiader Award.
