Theresa Reiwer is a Berlin-based artist who creates multi-channel video works and spatial installations. She combines 3D modeling, game engines, photogrammetry, motion capture, AI tools, and analog techniques. Her work, building on real events and popular culture, blurs the line between reality and imagination with speculative scenarios. Artificial “intelligence” is Theresas central subject – approached both as a mirror of how society operates and as a tool for picturing alternative futures. Her work has been shown at Ars Electronica, Next Level Festival (Dortmund), and in cities including Basel, Beijing, Berlin, Graz, Istanbul, Miami, Stockholm, and Zurich. She has received the Lumen Prize Gold Award (London 2024), BBA Artist Prize (2024), and Mart Stam Prize (2019), as well as fellowships from the Elsa Neumann Stipend (Berlin 2020) and the Haus for Media Art (Oldenburg 2025).
