With a background in Fine Arts and ongoing studies in Computer Science, Sara Rutz explores how technology influences human behavior and shapes our perception. In 2023, she won the Grand Prize at the MIT Reality Hack for a project that leveraged spatial computing to create a socially meaningful environment. Sara enjoys translating technical complexity into accessible insight, most recently through guest lectures on generative AI at the ZHdK Zurich University of the Arts Winterschool. Currently, Sara is co-organizing ArtTech Hack, a collaborative hackathon where art meets technology. By uniting students from across disciplines, the hackathon tackles robotics challenges and explores creative data visualization for social impact, driving innovation through diverse perspectives.
