Ricardo Chavarriaga

Ricardo Chavarriaga is an engineer and neuroscientist whose work spans neurotechnologies, artificial «intelligence», and responsible innovation. He leads the Responsible AI Innovation group at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence at the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences and heads the Swiss office of the CAIRNE Confederation of Laboratories for AI Research in Europe. His work centers on developing technical tools and governance approaches that guide AI systems toward outcomes that benefit society.
