Pius von Däniken is a PhD student in Computational Linguistics at the University of Zurich and works with the Natural Language Processing Group at the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences Centre for Artificial Intelligence. His background in Computer Science and nearly a decade in natural language processing includes work on language in online spaces, including hate speech and counterspeech, alongside broader research in language technology.
