Nicholas Schärer is a cultural producer and active participant in the experimental music scene. He lectures at the ZHdK Zurich University of the Arts and has led projects such as «Digital Brainstorming» for Migros-Kulturprozent, Migros’ cultural funding program, «Sonic Topologies» for ETH Zurich, and the CAS «Digital Cultures» at University of Basel. Since 2025, he has been co-director of the Error 417 Expectation Failed Foundation and a member of the expert commission for contemporary music at Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council.
