Mennatallah El-Assady is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at ETH Zurich, where she leads the Interactive Visualization and IVIA Intelligence Augmentation lab. Her research sits at the intersection of data visualization, computational linguistics, and explainable AI, with a focus on building interfaces that empower humans through co-adaptive collaboration with AI systems. Her doctoral work on human-AI teaming earned the joint dissertation award of the German, Austrian, and Swiss Informatics Societies.
