Prof. Dr. Markus Gross is a Professor of Computer Science at ETH Zurich, where he has led the Computer Graphics Laboratory since 1994. His work on physically-based simulation and digital humans has shaped Hollywood productions; the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has honoured him twice with the Technical Achievement Award. Gross is a Fellow of the ACM and the Eurographics Association, and recipient of the Eurographics Gold Medal 2024
