Marcial Koch is an interaction designer, scenographer and teacher located in Zug, Switzerland. His current practice provokes playful interactions between people and machines. As a designer he aims to create contact points between the analog and digital world, while linking the disciplines of architecture, art and science. By letting the audience experience and change their environment in different ways through active exploration and action, he lays the foundation for reflection with all senses, new ways of learning and social engagement. He is the co-creator and course leader of the «AI Encounter», a learning space for creative and experimental encounters with artificial „intelligences“. He works as a research associate and lecturer at the PH Zurich University of Teacher Education and as a visiting lecturer in the Bachelor Interaction Design at ZHdK Zurich University of the Arts.
