Barbara Mutzbauer develops concepts and desings spaces. Her projects convey emotion and deliver clear, powerful messages across exhibitions, brand environments and spatial storytelling. In leadership roles for agencies such as Bellprat Partner, Schmidhuber Munich and Aroma Zurich, here projects have received honors including the Red Dot Design Award, the Art Directors Club Award and the German Design Award. Barara teaches Spatial Design at the HSLU Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and develops research on healing spaces and multisensory environments. At ZHdK Zurich University of the Arts she teaches Atmospheric Design and mentor students. Barbara studied Interior Architecture in Rosenheim and Copenhagen and completed postgraduate certificates at ZHdK in Visual Identity & Corporate Design. In her dissertation «The Function of Blur», she explored the communicative potential of atmospheres and developed a method to articulate the meaning of exhibitions. She currently deepens her interest in new technologies and AI through the CAS Music Technology at HSLU.
