Anika Hannemann is Head of Research at the Swiss Centre for Responsible AI. Trained as a computer scientist, she has worked in both academic and industry settings. In 2025, she completed her doctorate at Leipzig University, where her research explored how machine learning systems can protect user privacy when operating across distributed networks. Her current work centers on Responsible AI, with particular attention to privacy and security in AI systems. She is committed to building meaningful connections between research and real-world application.
