Amanda E. Metzger works at the intersection of network theory, data collection, and authorship. She is drawn to how memories form, how they are measured and shared, and how they might be generated anew, asking how a shared consciousness could arise across many bodies. Amands fascination with technology-driven systems leads her to examine power structures and the ways resources and information circulate. She has worked deeply with artificial “intelligence” and Web3 technologies, exploring questions of authorship, vulnerability, and the tension between what remains private and what becomes public. Her installations, software, and photographies have been exhibited at the House of Electronic Arts, Basel (HEK); MU Hybrid Art House, Eindhoven; Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, Rome; Kunsthalle and Kunstmuseum Luzern; and Pilar Brussels. In 2025, she undertook the Connect Residency at CERN in Geneva and was selected for the Digital Arts Residency by transmediale, Berlin. She lives and works between Basel, Berlin, and Brussels.
