Prof. Dr. Markus Gross ist Professor für Informatik an der ETH Zürich, wo er seit 1994 das Computer Graphics Laboratory leitet. Seine Arbeit an physikbasierter Simulation und digitalen Menschen hat Hollywoodproduktionen technisch geprägt. Die Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hat ihn zweimal mit dem Technical Achievement Award ausgezeichnet. Gross ist Fellow der ACM und der Eurographics Association sowie Träger der Eurographics Gold Medal 2024.
